About ACT JPA

The ACT Justices of the Peace Association is a professional, voluntary organisation that has represented and supported the ACT’s Justices of the Peace since 1990.  The organisation was formed shortly after the ACT achieved self-government in 1989.  

Our objectives are to promote and support the role of Justices of the Peace, and assist our members to provide a quality service to the community.  We aim to keep our members up to date on legislative and regulatory changes that may affect Justice of the Peace services to the public.

We provide support, advocacy, fellowship and community involvement to our members.
